National Volume Pedal?

Hey there,

First time posting. My apologies if this is there wrong section…brand new steel player. I inherited a few things from a family member, an old Gibson EH-150 lap steel and amp (amp doesn’t work), an Electromuse lap steel that looks like a boat oar, a handful of national fingerpicks, and a national volume pedal.

I purchased a Show Pro Early Bird and have been working through the Franklin Method (boy was I surprised when he mentioned the rarity of these old national fingerpicks!)

But so far I can find nothing on this old volume pedal-If it’s worth trying to restore and use or just keep cased up in the house.

Would anyone be able to help me identify and maybe recommend if it’s worth trying to restore and use for daily playing?
