TSGA Show 2026 was great
Another TSGA show is in the books. It was indeed a great show as usual. The new hotel was nice, the food was good and though vendor rooms were a bit smaller they were adequate. The open area outside the main hall was great too. Lot's of great players, vendors, fellowship and fun. Thanks to Albert and Debbie Tally for all they do for steel guitar and for keeping this show going. It was great to get to play again. Thanks to Joan Cox and Eddie Dunlap for having be play bass with them.
Thanks to everyone who came by the Sho-Bud booth and tried our products. We got lot's of great feedback and support. Hope to see you all again next year.

Re: TSGA Jamboree 2026
Well again; Sorry I missed it. I did talk to Michael Yahl on the phone last night when he got home and he was just floored by you Johnny; was saying: "johnny said this; said that; we talked about this and that and OMY that Johnny Cox is something else to be around in the steel guitar world"!!!! I said: "Yes Indeed; that is the Johnny Cox I know; VERY Passionate about the Steel Guitar in every way and has been around it since he was a kid and knows more of the history than most of the ones still ALIVE"...

Re: TSGA Jamboree 2026
Just a few impressions of the Ft Worth show. I agree with all Johnny & Ricky said. I was encouraged by the number of great young players both on steel and in the backup band, they are amazing. Some of their music wasn't in my narrow taste but I realize it's great for the future of the instrument. It was great to see my friend Bruce Zumsteg. It was also good to see the Mullen room thriving. Many of us have been concerned about their well being both personally and business wise. I was a little dissappointed that there wasn't more booths of small stuff, strings, picks etc. And lastly, to all you I visited with, please excuse my runaway mouth. I get a little excited and a little scattered. But it was a great show and how about Austin Stewart, wow.

Oh and I was so very proud of my Lubbock friends. Congradulations to Wally Moyers and fantastic jobs by Jeremy Moyers, Kelly Hastey and son and the Moyers family.

Thank you for the Kind words Danny! It was a great weekend! It was pretty incredible getting to be there when dad was inducted into the Texas Steel Guitar HOF! Very proud of him! I also really enjoyed getting to play the show for the first time. I've been going to the show my entire life, so getting to sit on that stage and play a set was a thrill. Sure hope to get to do it again soon! Take care my friend!

Who was that young guy that sang with Eddie Dunlap. What a vocal presence on stage. I can't wait to hear his album that Eddie is playing on and I think also producing.

It was another great show. To me it seemed really relaxed. Met some new folks and saw some old friends. Johnny, you sounded good at the ShoBud booth and on stage. Looking forward to next year.

Hi Paul,
That was Quincy Lancto singing with Eddy Dunlap. I was not in the ballroom during during that part of Eddy's set, however I was listening to the SteelRadio live stream broadcast up in our hotel room. When I heard Quincy singing, ...I wondered "who is that guy" singing?
I made a point of meeting Quincy as soon as Eddy's set was over. Originally from Pennsylvania, Quincy is currently living in Nashville, TN. He's a very nice guy and what a voice!
