Pedal Steel Nightmares

Post by Bill McCloskey »

We have all heard of the actors nightmare: getting on stage and not knowing your lines. Or the student nightmare: going into a final examine and realizing you haven't been to class all year.

But how about the Steeler's nightmare. Last night I dreamed parts of the Pedal steel were falling off and I had no idea where the parts went or how to fix it. Later I'm dragging my steel up a steep set of stairs and setting it down a second story ledge, only to watch someone bump into it and send it smashing to the ground.

Any musician nightmares you guys have had?

Yes, a reoccurring nightmare that someone relentlessly requests Wagon Wheel.
A banjo, like a pet monkey, seems like a good idea at first.
